(A true story)
Gastun tired to think back to when everything had changed on him. One moment they had been chasing their enemies across the galaxy with the war council and the next moment, Peace, and the Council of Planetary management.
What started out as a band of mercenaries joined together for the common goal of ISK, war and power retched from the hands of the 4 empires had slowly changed into something much much different.
Soon it was talk all about maintaining peace and paperwork.
But Peace had proven to be the most treacherous ally of all.
Soon Gastun found himself not surrounded by warriors but by smooth talkers, men with nova knives behind their back instead of in their palms lunging at him. And even worse men who had no nova knives at all......
His council was now filled with men of fancy attire who could barely shoot a Krin much less drive a tank. Their weapons where smooth words, always smooth words..... No matter the issue they always agreed with each other in some way or another and always with the empire, the EVE empire....
And the peace had taken its toll on Gastun, he was fat, weak, stagnant. Sure he raised a issue the councils way but it would always come back the same way to him
"Its being worked on.. But right now we want to focus on the META aspects of the dust/EVE universe first"
And it the dimmest portions of what was left of the warrior that was Gastun he knew how the War council had fallen, when the warriors put down their weapons and the supports and politicians picked up their pens....
Gastun realized he was as much a slave now as he ever was in the first days of the uprising.
Hope you got the message of my story, it was about as fun to write as a punch in the balls, but maybe it will light a fire under ya and you will be willing to give CCP a forge gun the to the face every once in a while. Because the Yes men on the council are not going to do it for you. |

you? There are many people to pick from who constructively criticize CCP and contribuite to game and interact with the community. The BS'ers just cloud them out it seems.
We need a little opposite side of the coin on the CPM (ugggh even the name is so EVE) feel like I need a ledger..... |

And i'm sure if CCP actually got off IRC every once in a while and used the forums for more than just announcements and pats on the head they could have found people as well. lol, will never happen, they live inside IRC

Well, if I had to choose people it would go something like this. General Buttnaked, and Free Beers as people who I expect to criticize CCP without pulling punches Garrett Blacknova and Kageoshi (something like that lol) Horned Wolf, I always see them giving a lot of feed back Contrabanjoe, someone has to represent the blueberries Edit: I'm kidding about Joe, Maybe Maken Tosh or Bojo, those guys put in a lot of work.
See and that only took a few minutes. CCP never even took the time. |
